Additin RC 2516 is a light-colored sulfur carrier with excellent solubility, even in highly refined base oils. Due to its
outstanding EP properties and low activity against nonferrous metal Additin RC 2516 is ideally suited for
formulating slideway oils with good anti-stick-slip behavior. The special chemical structure and the improved
solubility make it possible to use Additin RC 2516 in highly refined base fluids, where conventional EP products
are not soluble.
Additin RC 2516 is especially suited for use in metalforming operations of
ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys containing yellow metals.
Solubility
Soluble in mineral oils and synthetic base oils, Group II and Group III. However, it is necessary to verify the
solubility in the base oils used and the compatibility with other additives
