【漂珠特性】

1、高耐火度：漂珠的主要化學(xué)成分為硅、鋁的氧化物，其中二氧化硅（SiO2)約為50-65%，三氧化二鋁(Al2O3)約為25-35%。因?yàn)槎趸瑁⊿iO2)的溶點(diǎn)高達(dá)1725攝氏度，三氧化二鋁(Al2O3)的溶點(diǎn)為2050攝氏度，均為高耐火物質(zhì)。因此，漂珠具有的耐火度，一般達(dá)1600-1700攝氏度，使其成為的耐火材料。

2、質(zhì)輕、保溫隔熱：漂珠壁薄中空，空腔內(nèi)為半真空，只有極微量的氣體(N2、H2及CO2等)，熱傳導(dǎo)極慢極微。所以漂珠不但質(zhì)輕(容重250-450kg/m3)，而且保溫隔熱(導(dǎo)熱系數(shù)常溫0.08-0.1)，這為其在輕質(zhì)保溫隔熱材料領(lǐng)域大顯身手奠定了基礎(chǔ)。

3、硬度大、強(qiáng)度高：由于漂珠是以硅鋁氧化物礦物相(石英和莫來(lái)石)形成的堅(jiān)硬玻璃體，硬度可達(dá)莫氏6-7級(jí)，靜壓強(qiáng)度高達(dá)70-140MPa，真密度2.10-2.20g/cm3，因此，漂珠具有很高的強(qiáng)度。一般輕質(zhì)多孔或中空材料如珍珠巖、沸巖、硅藻土、海浮石、膨脹蛭石等均是硬度差、強(qiáng)度差，用其制的保溫隔熱制品或輕質(zhì)耐火制品，都有強(qiáng)度差的缺點(diǎn)。他們的短處恰恰是漂珠的長(zhǎng)處，所以漂珠就更有競(jìng)爭(zhēng)優(yōu)勢(shì)，用途更廣。

4、電絕緣性，不導(dǎo)電：選去磁珠后的漂珠，是性能的絕緣材料，不導(dǎo)電。一般絕緣體的電阻均隨溫度的升高而降低，漂珠則相反，隨溫度的升高電阻增大。這一優(yōu)點(diǎn)是其他絕緣材料都不具備的。所以，它可以制作是性能的高溫條件下的絕緣材料制品。

5、粒度細(xì)，比表面積大：漂珠自然形成的粒度為1-250微米。比表面積300-360g/cm2，和水泥差不多。因此，漂珠不需粉磨，可直接使用。細(xì)度可滿足各種制品的需要，其他輕質(zhì)保溫材料一般粒度都很大(如珍珠巖等)，如果粉磨就會(huì)大幅度增加容量，使隔熱性大大降低。
